Fried Cheesecake

Sweet Indulgence- Fried Cheesecake

If you're feeling in a bad mood-here's the perfect solution, but not if you're a health nut.

Cheesecake is my favorite desert. I love the Applebees Chimi Cheesecake which is not offered at my local Applebees. So I found a copycat recipe online and modified it to my liking. I think I came pretty close.

Ingredients:
3 8 ounces packs of cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
3 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of vanilla wafer
1/2 stick of butter
8 large flour tortillas
caramel ice cream (optional)

Pie crust- crush vanilla wafers into tiny pieces . Stir with melted butter. Flatten in the bottom of a pie pan.
Filling- Beat sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add flour, beat, Beat in eggs. Stir in vanilla. Pour over pie crust
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let it cool. Run knife around cake to loosen.
Store overnight in refrigerator.

Divide cake into 8 portions. (You may have some left for regular cheesecake) Place in each tortilla. Fold sides of tortilla then roll together. Wrap in plastic wrap. Place in freezer.

When ready to serve, place in deep fryer for 5-7 minutes until brown.

Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve with caramel ice cream.

Slowly let yourself indulge the taste!
